On the evening of May 21st, Torrance High held its 60th annual Achievement Awards.
This special event recognizes the hard work Tartar students have displayed in academics, athletics, and school service. In each category, one student is awarded a trophy. Teachers elect students from their classes who have shown hard work, dedication, and excelled in their class.
Students who have achieved scholarships, grants, a State Seal of Civic Engagement, and a State Seal of Biliteracy are also awarded on this night.
