Torrance’s Water Polo Boys faced Paramount on September 12 at 3:30. Torrance was struggling at the start.  After the first two quarters, Torrance was down 2-3. During the first quarter, Paramount scored 3 while we only scored 1 and we had several attempts at shots. During the second quarter we managed to get a goal. Torrance shots were rocky in the first quarter with several of them getting blocked or missing, but as the game progressed we started to make our shots.

 During the second and third quarter Paramount did not score any goals while Torrance scored five which got us ahead. At the end of the third quarter the score was 6-3. In the beginning of fourth quarter Paramount scored a goal. However it did not matter to our team as Torrance High Junior, Ben Ertzman scored to counter. Following was THS senior, Jandyn Weaver scoring a goal. Close to the end a nice play resulted in Ricky Calhoun, a THS junior getting an assist from freshman, Logan Holstein. Ending the game with the score being 9-4. Overall, the game was tough but our THS Water Polo Boys ended the game in triumph and they have a week until their first league game against North High School.
