The Torrance High softball team begins their CIF playoff quest today as they face Huntington Beach at Don Lee Field.

The Tartars went undefeated in league play this season, going 12-0 to top their league standings. In the First Round of the playoffs, the Tartars will host Huntington Beach who went 10-2 in the Sunset League.

The team is trying to replicate and build on last season, where the Tartars advanced all the way to Regionals, where they eventually lost in the final against Mater Dei Catholic. This time the Tartars are entering Division 1 playoffs, and the first step is getting past the first round.
