Torrance Softball Remains Undefeated

The Torrance High softball team is off to a flying start to their season.

In addition to the brand new Don Lee Field on campus where the Tartars play, the team has made tremendous progress on the field.

As the regular season comes to a close, the Tartars are currently on an 11 game winning streak, outsourcing their opponents 93-5. League play wraps up soon with El Segundo and South still on the schedule for Torrance.

The Tartars are still undefeated in league, keeping a 10-0 record going into the final week of games. Right behind them is North, who are still close with a 6-2 record.

Last season ended bittersweet as the team lost in the finals of CIF Division II, but ended with a 26-9 record. The Tartars will be hoping for a better ending this year as they try and challenge for the title once again.
