This past Monday, the grand unveiling of Torrance High School’s new softball field was unveiled after over a year of construction.

As the sun set on Monday evening, the ribbon was cut to welcome the new Don Lee Field on the southside of campus. 

The field is named after Torrance High alum Don Lee, a former City Council and School Board member who made a huge effort to fund the field, as well as being an advocate for Torrance schools in the last 40 years.

The new field is located right outside of the C Building on campus. Softball season is expected to start next Spring, which will mark a new era for Torrance High at Don Lee Field.
